She specialises in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, and Food Technology, providing deep technical insight that strengthens the firm’s patent prosecution and advisory capabilities.
Tharishini serves as a Senior Patent Executive, where she is highly experienced in drafting high-quality patent specifications, translating complex scientific concepts into clear, precise, and strategically structured patent applications. Her drafting work spans a wide range of inventions in the life sciences and chemical sectors, ensuring strong claim coverage and alignment with both commercial objectives and jurisdictional requirements. In addition, she conducts comprehensive patent searches and manages a portfolio of local and international clients, advising on patentability, novelty, and validity matters. She is adept at handling prosecution processes, including the preparation of detailed responses to examination reports, ensuring applications are robustly defended and efficiently advanced towards grant.
Tharishini is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association and has contributed to the innovation ecosystem as a judge at the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition, where she evaluates pioneering inventions and technological developments across multiple disciplines.
