Leveraging this robust background, he now assists in supervising and managing the trademarks, industrial designs, and franchise teams at KASS, while simultaneously overseeing the critical operations of the docketing team. His day-to-day responsibilities span the searching, registration, and prosecution of trademarks and industrial designs, alongside providing strategic counsel on franchise and copyright matters, trademark registrability, and multi-jurisdictional objections across all ASEAN nations.

A thought leader in the space, Amir regularly contributes to the intellectual property community by authoring numerous articles and conducting educational seminars on the strategic importance of trademarks in both English and Malay.
