Alice graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in Industrial Biotechnology from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. She brings a strong foundation in molecular biology, microbiology, and chemical analysis, essential for supporting biotechnology and life sciences-related inventions.

She conducts patent searches and drafts patent specifications for innovations in biotechnology, microbiology, and chemical fields. Managing a portfolio of both local and international clients, Alice is skilled in preparing responses to examination reports, performing novelty and patentability assessments, and issuing patent validity and invalidity opinions. Her research experience spans collaborative projects on feed formulation for Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL), innovative uses of BSF byproducts, microbial enumeration of phosphate-solubilizing and nitrogen-fixing bacteria, antifungal testing, and chemical and microbiological analysis. These experiences have honed her analytical skills and equipped her with practical laboratory techniques such as cell culture, DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis.

Alice approaches patent practice with curiosity and enthusiasm, demonstrating a strong eagerness to learn the ropes of patent drafting and prosecution. With a keen interest in drug screening methodologies and advanced cell culture techniques, she is committed to continuously expanding her expertise and contributing meaningfully to the protection of scientific innovations through intellectual property.
