Many companies are faced with increasing per unit labour costs but without any corresponding increase in productivity. Coupled with this, there is no or very little innovation in manufacturing process or products. Companies which fail to innovate will soon go out of business.
The best way to overcome this dilemma is to impart knowledge to management and production staff on the creation and use of Intellectual Property Rights such as patents, industrial designs, trademarks, copyright, etc. and the contractual terms involved. Our Publications to Raise Awareness
As a conscientious intellectual property firm, one of our initiatives to spread intellectual property awareness has been to create a value-added service where our clients and associates can get a hold of updates on intellectual property law as it happens, along with insights on the intellectual property landscape in Southeast Asia through our regular publication – KASS eureka.
Our monthly e-newsletter covers updates on IP issues in the Southeast Asian region, and includes KASS news, upcoming KASS events, and our recent media appearances. Our IP updates are sent to our subscribers once a month via e-mail (usually reaching your e-mail inboxes by the 4th week of the month).
The KASS eureka keeps you informed of interesting IP cases, changes in IP legislation, government initiatives and other newsworthy information related to IP in the region in a laypeople-friendly manner. This is also where you’ll be updated on our scheduled office closures due to national holidays.
