What You Will Do:
✅Accurately translates a variety of documents including patent specifications (technical), legal, marketing materials, etc. from English to Indonesian and vice versa
✅Ascertains the understanding of the meaning and context of that material in its original language, and converts it into a second language, ensuring to preserve the original meaning and tone
✅Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
✅Formatting the translation to maintain its original format
✅Consult with subject matter experts and other colleagues to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately
✅Follows up with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding
✅Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation

• Good attitude and character
• Having general knowledge in IP, particularly in Patent
• BSc in Translation, Interpreting, English Literature or a similar field or Bachelor’s degree in Sciences/Life sciences/Chemistry/Biology or any related discipline (is a plus)
• Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus
• Proven work experience as a Patent Translator, Interpreter, or similar role for at least 3 years (s)
• Being fluent in both English and Indonesian is essential
• Accuracy and thoroughness
• High attention to detail 
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Able to use editing tools is an advantage 
• Familiarity with translation software is an advantage
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Ethical and professional conduct
